Okay lemme try:

Stewart Brand - Hugh Laurie
Stanley Mouse - Steve Buscemi (sorry Stanley)
That radio personality who introduces the band at the Fillmore on Feb. 14, 1970 ("The Grateful Goddamn Dead!") - Peter O'Toole

Okay, let's be serious for just one second.T here's a bad guy in the movie Miami Vice who doesn't trust our heroes when they're undercover. He's like the second man for the big boss. As I was watching that movie I thought that guy could actually play a young Jerry Garcia.

If someone didn't already suggest this one, then give me credit for the most obvious choice ever:

Bill Graham - Chazz Palminteri

Jim Carrey - Phil Lesh
Johnny Depp - Bobby Weir
Paul Reubens - Mickey Hart, Mouse or Owsley
Penelope Cruz - Donna
Billy Bob Thornton - Pigpen
Sharon Stone - Janis Joplin
Harvey Keitel - Bill Kreutzman
George Carlin - Jerry Garcia
Bill Murray - Chet Helms

Get Scorcese to direct and Oliver Stone to produce.
